  • The Outstanding Research Accomplishment Award is granted each year to two students judged to have made the most impressive research accomplishments during their time in the program. Winners are selected based on nominations by their research advisors. Each student can receive the award only once.
  • The Outstanding Student Presentation Award is granted each year to the student(s) who gave the best research presentation at the annual retreat.  Winners are selected by vote.
  • The Poster Award is granted each year to the student(s) who presented the best poster at the annual retreat.  Winners are selected by vote.
  • The Student Service Award recognizes volunteer contributions made by doctoral students toward the success of the CPCB Program.  Winners are selected by the Directors.
  • The DEI (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion) Award recognizes the volunteer contributions made by doctoral students who help cultivate fairness and respect within the program and work to promote an inclusive environment. Winners are selected by the Directors.
  • The Outreach Award is granted to students who provide services to the community.
